Welcome to Southern Eighths, an equestrian destination for riders who want to build a better relationship with their horse.

Located on the central North & South Carolina line, in the “Heart of the Carolinas,” our 300-plus acre farm offers all the tools you’ll need for you and your horse to become a more confident and well-rounded team. By combining state-of-the-art facilities specifically developed as a training venue and our traditional approach to horsemanship, your visit to Southern 8ths will be memorable and long lasting.

Southern 8ths was developed to be a place where horse and riders can experience the complete training continuum. Facilities include:

• indoor and outdoor all weather arenas,
• beginner novice to preliminary cross country courses with a separate intro course,
• two steeplechase tracks,
• derby course,
• multiple show jumping courses,
• large and small dressage arenas,
• miles of measured and marked sand roads and tracks,
• and a large, airy 38 stall guest barn with wash stalls.

Our team includes trainers, both of our on-site team as well as an adjunct group of U.S and Canadian international riders, an FEI course designer, our local and an FEI veterinarian and world renowned jump builders.
